Aluminium has earned its reputation and is used more and more in manufacturing and construction. Its range of applications is enormous and it opens up a great many possibilities. The main reasons clients choose it are durability and good looks, but those are not its only advantages. Aluminium is considerably lighter than steel and highly resistant to low temperatures, to corrosion and to mechanical damage. Another point in favour of aluminium profiles is how easy they are to work — they can be cut to length and joined using welding techniques.
The aluminium pales in our range can be used in many ways, depending on what the client needs. The most popular use at the moment is probably as infill components for fences or for external and internal railings. But that is not the end of what they can do — they work perfectly well as decorative cladding for a facade, for example.
Profiles in general can form the frames of structures that are then filled with another material: windows, partition walls, screens, shelving. Blinds and gates can also be mounted on them. They are an important building block for all sorts of frameworks.
Which aluminium profiles will you find in our range?
We hold aluminium profiles measuring 100 × 25 × 1.2 mm and 200 × 20 × 1.5 mm in stock. Aluminium profiles measuring 200 × 100 × 4 mm, painted in timber colours and used as structural components, also attract a lot of interest. Others are available on enquiry and to order, with a longer lead time.
Besides the pale itself, clients can order a painting service, which we are able to carry out relatively quickly because we have our own powder coating shop.
Any colour from the RAL palette can be chosen — the most popular at the moment is anthracite 7016 — or a wood imitation effect in one of the colours we hold, among them White Wash, Deep walnut and Golden oak.
Profile prices depend mainly on the size of the order, but also on how complex it is. We offer discounts on larger orders and for regular clients. Our profiles are ideal for building garden architecture such as an aluminium pergola.
